• TCP/IP ( transmission control protocol/Internet Protocol)
  
• DNS (Domain name system) the system for mapping text names to IP addresses automatically
  
• HTTP (Hyper-text transmission protocol)
  
• FTP (file transfer protocol)
  
• SMTP (simple mail transfer protocol)
